"The kind of story you can rip through in one day" -Zebras and Quills, on IRISH MOON

About Amber

WARNING: It’s Hot In Here!

Hi there! I’m Amber Scott and I am a die-hard, completely hopeless, romantic.

I’m a happily married mama of two. In between naptimes and laundry, I bang out the love stories in my head. I can’t cook. I’m seriously addicted to chocolate. If I could have lunch with any person living or dead, it’d be my dad.

I’m lucky enough to be able to say I have landed a really amazing husband, and yet, at times, I miss the days of being single.

Don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t exchange my life for anything, but…a night in the arms of a certain devastatingly handsome vampire or a morning curled up next to the knight that got away are tempting thoughts that I can’t help explore through my  fiction.

Come away with me and live vicariously….

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel back in time? To howl at the moon? To kiss a girl?

Ever wake up and wish you had a little Druid magic to make things easier or some hard alcohol that made it all disappear?

I miss the falling in love part. Do you? That wondrous new hope of becoming the world to someone else? The thrill of meeting eyes across a crowded room? The shiver of unexpected attraction?

Unfortunately, my books will not reverse the signs of aging and they cannot shrink your thighs. But, if you give them a chance, they’ll take you away from it all. My characters aren’t perfect people. Far from it. They make mistakes, want the impossible and often get in their own damned way. But, I love them still. They are a lot like me. Sleep deprived, worried, misguided and driven despite it all.

If you need some ‘me time’, a little escape, my seven and counting titles are here for you.

May 2009, I joined the staff, or “crew”, of 1stTurningPoint.com, a site and forum where unpublished, new, orphaned, ebook, self-published, small and big press published authors come to learn and share all about promotion.

October 2010 I co-founded the Indie Book Collective with Carolyn McCray and Rachel Thompson. We pooled our skillsets and wrote “Dollars & Sense: The Definitive Guide to Self-publishing Success.”

My internal editor, Charles, occasionally pops in to speak his piece here. Trust me, he’s a character! Milla, my muse, always keeps him in line, thankfully.

Thank you for coming by and for reading. Be sure to say hi in a comment before you go or email me at amberscottbooks@gmail.com.

    Hello Amber.
I just wanted to let you know that I had just finished reading “Fierce Dawn”.
Not really my style of reading, But that book may have definitely changed my mind entirely on reading preferences.
“Fierce Dawn” was amazing, I didn’t want the story to end.
Is there a second installment? or are you planning on writing the squeal?
I would love to keep this ball rolling.

    Hey there !

I’m very interested to read your “Jessie’s Girl” story but I was unable to find a site where I could purchase it. Do you happen to know any other site that still has it so I could buy it and download it as ebook?

    Thank you a lot :)

    Have a nice day !

    • Hi Anni!
Jessie’s Girl is one of my all time faves among my titles. I still get choked up when I think of Sabrina and Jessie’s story. It will re-release soon and in the meantime, I might be able to score you an eARC. I’ll email you!
