When I grow up I want to be an author. Or a hair stylist. Except my hands tremble and who wants that with scissors coming at them?

I’m a total brain geek. I read metaphysics, physics, neuroscience and new age books for fun. I don’t always understand them, but love them anyhow.

Wine is my friend but not my bestest friend ever. Coffee and chocolate already hold that position. And I don’t end up in a meeting for them.

My favorite joke of all time: A man walk into a doctor’s office wearing nothing but Saran Wrap. The doctor looks at him and says, “Sir, I can clearly see you’re nuts.”

I’m the middle child of five girls and as a teen they decided I lived in romance novel zone. Yep. It’s gorgeous here.

I have the best kids on the whole world and they completely crack me up. On my cooking…”Momma, this chicken is awful!” said in babygirl, angelic shock. Or, “Mom, even though you burn dinner, I still love you.” Sweet boy!

Cherry red toenail polish makes me feel as sexy as any piece of lingerie. Speaking of lingerie, my first real job was at Frederick’s of Hollywood.

My top five favorite novels of all time are Linger by Maggie Steifvater, The Witching Hour by Anne Rice, When He Was Wicked by Julia Quinn, Sunglasses at Dark by Nancy Carter (cheating, it’s a trilogy) and Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

Pivotal moments in my life so far: moving to Arizona, meeting my husband, joining RWA, meeting Ann Charles and meeting Carolyn McCray. I think my mom starting me early in Kindergarten, at 4 turning 5, is one of the major decisions that shaped who I became.

Songs that make me have to dance: “Groove is in the Heart” by Deelite, “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson and anything “Rasberry Beret” by Prince.
