She’s pretty wonderful and the award is pretty wonderful, too. So today’s updates shall come in the form of a list of things I find just, well, wonderful.  :)

1. The HOT Club–From Chester to Delphina to Sherrikki, I dare anyone to prove they have cooler fans. This secret Facebook group is my fave place to duck in while procrastinating word count, burning dinner or about to say goodnight. Thank you HOTees, for making my day every day.

2. The Indie Book Collective–How on earth did I get so lucky as to meet Carolyn McCray and help her found this group. I can’t even begin to measure all I’ve learned thanks to her and this group. Feb. 3rd marks the Bestseller For a Day 1st birthday and “8 Hearts Beat as One” will be headlining this event. It’s a Valentine’s anthology that will give you all sorts of warm fuzzies and sighs. AND all this week, the 2nd annual Blog Tour de Force “Get Loaded” tour is feeding fans with free ebooks, chances to win and a scavenger hunt. Today’s stop is Chelsea Fine with her latest release “Anew“. If you’re a Twi-hard like me, you’ll eat this baby up! Every comment is a win.

3. “The Sweetest Fling”, book two in the Stupid Cupid series is on the release list and, barring any hiccups, will be out by Feb. 3rd to help out Bestseller For a Day. This event is going to be special because we’re celebrating the program’s birthday by going FREE. Sweet! (I heart free.)

The Sweetest Fling is the latest, and long awaited, release. It shall be out in two short weeks and I promise to spread the word fast. I’ve heard rumors about a “Free Par-tay” I will say this: Plans are that both Play Fling and The Sweetest Fling will be in it. Millie up to her doomed cupid antics again!

The Sweetest Fling is not about the one that got away so much as the one Jace cannot, should not love. Because his brother does, too. Or, does he just think he does?

We’ll have to see what Millie can do to get this one right? In honor of Jace and Claire’s story, here’s the song that really encompasses it….

For all the fans that told me so...

Several years ago, when Irish Moon was in its infant stages, my critique partner Karen said the words that changed something…”I couldn’t wait to get home and read it. I literally can’t put this one down, Amber.”

Now, Karen, being a most excellent critique partner, is no easy win. I know I’ve nailed a book when she begins to actually like it. And over the years as I hemmed and hawed over whether or not to keep the Moon Magick series going, Karen is the one who encouraged me most. Then I re-released Irish Moon indie one year ago.

Along came Kelli M. and Cindelena and a whole slew of other HOT Club members up to newest HOTees Delphina M. and Patricia T. who love Irish Moon.  *wave*

Of course, I love my book baby, too. Finn, the enchanted cat within the pages is to date my all time fave character. I miss Finn! But I’m biased. And I’m an author. Which means the doubt demons come a-knocking every time I sit down to write.  #noreally  #scary

So, to every reader who ever said, “I love Irish Moon” I’m here to say, thank you, you were right and I am so, so happy that you ‘told me so’. In fact, I hope you’ll grab this pic and splash your bragging rights all over. You deserve it. Why???

Because…

As of this posting, Irish Moon is #7 on the Top 100 Kindle free titles and sitting next to some legends like Sherlock Holmes and Jane Austin. Whaaaat???   WOW. Just…wow! All thanks to readers like you!!

Cheers to such a gigantic milestone for it. And while this is not necessarily related, I’m also pleased to announce the new winner of the big swag pack of books from the ECWC….
